Racing Rules & Race Management Seminar

Bill Ross will conduct a racing rules and race management seminar at the newly renovated North Carolina Community Sailing & Rowing Center.  The seminar will focus on the basic racing rules and race management and is being designed for the new or casual racer and those interested in learning how to properly run a race.  Sailors from around the lake are invited and affiliation with NCCSR or local yacht clubs is not a requirement.  Coffee will be served and we will end promptly at noon. 

Bill is well known in sailing circles.  He became active in US Sailing around 1988 and is now a Past President of the Flying Scot Sailing Association, Past Commodore of Lake Norman Yacht Club and South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association.  He has been active as a Principal Race Officer, having run several US Sailing Championships and served as a Senior Judge at many national and regional events.  Bill and his "A Team" won the St. Petersburg Yacht Club trophy after the Thistle Nationals of 1999.  Recently, Bill chaired the US Sailing Men's Championship Committee.
