North Carolina Community Sailing & Rowing (NCCSR) is an exciting new venture developed in partnership with Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation Department and is beautifully situated on a two acre site at Blythe Landing on Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte. This is the only center of its kind in the region and our venue is perfectly suited for small craft sailing and rowing programs. NCCSR is less than five minutes from I77 exit 25. The Center is a 501 (c)(3) non profit corporation and is operated by NCCSR. The Center will operate 9 months of the year and we anticipate that 75% of programming will be directed toward youth.
At this time, all sailing programs are operated out of Blythe Landing and all rowing programs are operated out of the Lake Norman YMCA. See the Home Page for directions to both locations.
